The second Summer School on Imaging in Epilepsy (SuSIE) will take place June 26-29, 2016 at Rauischholzhausen Castle near Marburg, Germany.
The SuSIE has two main objectives: the first is to teach clinicians the application of multimodal imaging techniques at different stages of epilepsy treatment – from outpatient MRI to image-guided minimally invasive epilepsy surgery. The second objective is to provide a forum for exchanging experiences, creating new development ideas, and building multidisciplinary collaborations among people who apply and develop structural and functional imaging techniques.
The 2016 programme will expand on the success of the first SuSIE by including more hands-on sessions to address participants’ specific interests at different levels of knowledge. A new workshop, “The SuSIE Forum,” will provide attendees an opportunity to discuss international and multidisciplinary cooperations and share ideas about future imaging technique developments.
Physicians and scientists assigned to diagnosing and treating patients with epilepsy, namely pediatricians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, radiologists and neuroradiologists as well as basic scientists, are invited to participate in SuSIE.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 2016 SuSIE at wonderful Rauischholzhausen Castle.
